I am currently a Senior Lecturer of Paediatrics in the University of Uyo and Senior Consultant of Paediatrics Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
My work entails training of medical students in Paediatrics as well as resident doctors. I offer bedside training, clinical as well as didactic lectures to my student. I offer clinical services to children within the hospital and communities in the State and other part of the country.
My research interest include infectious diseases such as malaria and diarrheal diseases, childhood nutritional disorders, infant and young child feeding practices, functional gastrointestinal disorders in children.
