About

I am an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UCLA and practice primary care at the UCLA Medicine-Pediatrics Comprehensive Care Clinic in Santa Monica, California. My clinical interests are broad and include primary and preventive care for all patients, adolescent medicine, advocating for improved access to healthcare as well as for human rights, and resident and medical student education. I am also a member of the UCLA Gender Health Program and provide primary and gender-health related care to transgender and gender-diverse patients.

I have an undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, Master of Public Health degree in Healthcare Management from Columbia University, and MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. I am a member of the Gold Humanism Society.
