I trained in general surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. I worked there for the first 3 years after training. I moved closer to home and now work at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, Michigan. I have about 80 peer-reviewed publications and 3 book chapters.
