Dr. Owais Hashmat is a Consultant Neurologist at the Aga Khan University Health Network serving in its secondary hospitals and periphery clinics. With over 5 years of Neurology experience, Dr. Owais has keen interest in research, whether it be editing research manuscripts, publishing a paper or simply helping others in research related problems. In addition to his consultation and private practice, Dr. Owais uses his neurology expertise to reach less privileged sections of society; keeping in mind the out-of-reach services available to this section of population. He is a graduate of the prestigious Aga Khan University in Neurology Residency Program. His interest in research spans many fields of neuroscience, the most notable of which is stroke as a topic of interest. He continues to maintain an active participation in research while practicing as a full-time Neurologist.
