About
Dedicated anesthesiologist and critical care physician with over a decade of diverse clinical experience across healthcare systems in Pakistan, Qatar, and the USA, I am dedicated to advancing patient care through healthcare equity, quality improvement, and patient safety. My journey in anesthesiology has been driven by a commitment to not just provide care but to continually refine it—making it safer, more effective, and accessible to all.
I have a deep interest in medical research, focusing on identifying and mitigating risk factors for anesthetic complications to improve perioperative outcomes. During my ACGME-accredited residency in anesthesiology and critical care at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, I had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident, a role that strengthened my leadership skills and commitment to excellence. Currently, I practice at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, where I continue to pursue these passions.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as the Academic Editor for Anesthesiology at the Middle Eastern Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences, where I contribute to advancing scholarly discourse and promoting high-impact research in the field.
My clinical interests include regional anesthesia, difficult airway management, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and medical education. I am particularly excited about the evolving role of artificial intelligence in transforming anesthesiology practice and improving patient outcomes.
Always eager to collaborate, learn, and contribute, I welcome connections with fellow healthcare professionals, researchers, and innovators who share a vision for advancing the future of anesthesiology.
