Research Interests or Topics: I am broadly interested in the physiological control of fluid and electrolyte balance in the body, with a specific interest in kidney function, sweating, and diarrhea. I hope to develop novel solutions for electrolyte balance and hydration to safely replenish fluid and electrolyte loss after diarrhea and to replace electrolytes after extreme sweat loss during exercise and hot yoga.
