I am Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics and a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at a University Hospital in Thessaloniki-Greece with a clinical and research practice dedicated to Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery. Although I enjoy all aspects of Orthopedics, I'm particularly interested in the sub-specialties of trauma, pelvic & acetabulum surgery, musculoskeletal tumors, hip & knee reconstruction. Since completing my basic training in Orthopaedics (2006), I worked as a Trauma Fellow (University of Leeds, UK, 2006-2007), as a Clinical/Research Fellow in the fields of Hip & Knee Arthroplasty as well as Biomaterials and Bioengineering (University of Berkeley & UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco, USA, 2007-2008) and as Clinical/Research Fellow in Hip & Knee Reconstructive Surgery (Avenue Hospital, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, 2009-2010). So far, I have approximately 70 publications in peer review scientific journals, and I'm also an invited reviewer in more than 30 journals.
