I am a Social Science Research Scholar in the Department of Surgery, Stanford-Surgery Policy Improvement Research & Education (S-SPIRE) Center at the Stanford University School of Medicine. I have 16 years of experience developing and implementing curricular content in medical education. In addition, she has extensively mentored graduate-level and medical students, residents, and faculty, with a focus on enhancing rigor in research methods. I currently co-direct the Scholarly Concentration in Medical Education for medical students, in addition to the MedScholars medical student research funding mechanism. I have extensive experience with qualitative and mixed-methods research projects in medical education, implementation science, and health services research, and teaches graduate-level, fellowship, and international courses in research methods.
