I trained as a comparative physiologist (studied membrane transport in fish hepatocytes) and developmental neurobiologist (studied the role of the Sonic hedgehog pathway in visual system development. I am currently an associate professor of biology at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
