About

I am trained as a physician-scientist with clinical expertise in adult and pediatric infectious diseases. My research focus is on viral host-pathogen interactions and innate immune response. Early in my career I worked on HIV and now primarily focus on respiratory viruses, particularly influenza viruses, including influenza B and C, and RSV. I am also interested in global health and the burden of respiratory viruses worldwide.
