F. Famà is associate professor of General Surgery (06/C1) at the University of Messina since 2018. His clinical and research interests include breast and endocrine surgery, minimally invasive surgery, traumatology and innovative surgical techniques development.
He participated to the surgical activities of the Surgical Department, since the beginning of his clinical work (2000 to date), at University Hospital of Messina (Italy).
He's author of more than 95 publications in different research fields, mainly of breast and thyroid surgery, but also of traumatology and medicine (gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology and oncology).
He collaborates regularly with national and international research groups (France), and participates in multicentric studies.
