About

Myself Dr. Dnyanesh Amle would like to present my intro under following specific heading of Teaching, academics, research and laboratory administration.
Teaching: Having completed my Post graduation (MD) in Biochemistry from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, I was actively involved in managing theory classes as well as practical classes for 200 students. As a post graduate student I was exposed to regular and rigorous teaching learning activities as in Post graduate microteaching, Seminars and journal presentations. Also I have individually carried out Problem based learning, tutorials and case discussions forMBBS students. As a faculty In Pt. J.N.M. Medical college Raipur, I have carried out regular lectures and practical for batch of 150 MBBS students. My special interest in implementing novel techniques, in medical teaching learning is reflected as my publication in medical teaching. Apart from MBBS students, I have also been involved in Post graduate teaching (MD Biochemistry), MSc Medical Biotchnology and BSc Dialysis Technology students in the same institute. My special attention is always to make the subject interesting to students and help them lead their way through biochemistry to clinical subjects. I have been faculty in AIIMS Mangalgiri, an insitute of national importance in India. And currently I am working as Assistant Professor in Department of Biochemistry in AIIMS, Nagpur which is also an institute of national importance.
Academics:As a PG student I was winner of AMBIOCN national PG quiz as well as AMBICME PG quiz in Biochemistry. As a faculty I have widened and intensified my scope of learning in the field of Biochemistry and molecular biology. I wasOrganizing secretary for National symposium on "Genetic Basis of Haematological disorders with Special emphasis on Sickle Cell Disease" on 25th and 26th July 2016 and seven days "Hands-on-Workshop' on "Molecular Diagnostics" 26th July to 1st August 2016. Apart from this I have been guest faculty for 3 National symposia and 4 National workshops. I have also successfully cleared exam for DNB in Biochemistry. I was in charge fordepartmental UG and PG teaching in Pt. JNMMC, Raipur and also currently I am teaching incharge at Dept of BIochemistry in AIIMS, Nagpur.
Research:With specific interest in research in Clinical Biochemistry as well as Molecular biology I have managed to publish 30 research articles in national and international journals and I am further working on multiple projects in field of Stem cell, Clinical biochemistry, and sickle cell disease. I have also personally presented 20 Oral and poster presentation at various national and international platform and have been awarded prize on 5 occasions. I have been involved as immediate supervisor for thesis of 3 MD students, Co-guide for 2 MD students, dissertation guide for 10 MSc projects and 3 ICMR-STS projects have been approved and 2 accepted under my guidance. All of these projects were my research ideas and had my significant contributions.
Apart from these credentials I have also acquired useful skills in statistics during the tenure. I also have published two chapters in reputed international books.
Laboratory: As a post graduate student I have been conversant with most of the latest techniques in Biochemistry diagnostic laboratory. Diagnostic laboratory was handling the sample load of about 7000 tests/day and a team member I was actively involved in management of this laboratory. Further as Faculty I was in charge of Genetic lab, Confocal lab, advanced research lab and special investigations from time to time thus I am well conversant with actual laboratory evaluation management and administration part.Laboratory in this institute is also a full fledged laboratory with round the clock service for almost all routine clinical biochemistry investigations and daily services for hormonal assay and tumor markers. Thus this was a handy experience regarding laboratory management as a team.I have also competed NABL QMS and internal auditors training course as per ISO 15189-2012, which is helping me to further improve the performance of our laboratory and patient care.
