I am Dr. Bijit Biswas, a public health specialist with a post-graduation [MD (Community Medicine)] completed in June 2018. Since July 2025, I have been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar. I have over 63 publications to my credit, with the following research impact metrics: h-index: 16, i10-index: 19, and Citations: 1,505.

I have contributed to nine funded projects supported by organizations such as Vital Strategies (USA), NIHR (UK), Alive & Thrive, MOHFW, ICMR, NHSRC, and others. My role includes serving as Principal Investigator (2 projects) and Co-Principal Investigator (7 projects), managing grants totaling approximately USD 300,000.

As a Publons Academy graduate, I actively perform peer reviews for various international journals and am part of the editorial board for BMC International Journal for Equity in Health. Additionally, I serve on the review boards of the American Journal of Health Behavior and the International Journal of Public Health.

My research interests encompass a wide range of public health topics, including non-communicable diseases, occupational health, mental health, maternal and child health, and chronic disease epidemiology. I am passionate about conducting impactful research to address critical public health challenges.
