I am currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, Government Doon Medical College, Dehrakhas, Patelnagar, Dehradun.
My research interests are Sexually Transmitted Infections (particularly Chlamydia trachomatis and Genital Mycoplasmas), Sexual Abuse, LGBTQ health, Chemsex, Surgical Site Infections, Prosthetic Joint Infections and Staphylococcus aureus.
I have published more than 75 research articles in various journals of National and International repute.
Currently i am working on Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma hominis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplasma urealyticum and Ureaplasma parvum.
