Dr. Prasenjit Mitra is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS Jodhpur. He did his MBBS from NBMC, SIliguri, MD (Biochemistry) from SMIMS, Gangtok and Senior Residency from AIIMS Jodhpur. He is a recipient of ICMR-NCS fellowship. He is working on molecular mechanisms of metal toxicity, mental disorders. He has attended several National and International Conferences and won various fellowships
and awards. He is the Associate Editor of Indian Journal of Clinical Biochemistry, Joint secretary of Association of Clinical Biochemists of India, Member of The Cochrane Community, Corresponding member IFCC C-CLM and International Assessor of Medical Laboratories (AERSSC). He is also a Publons Academy Graduate and Mentor and a member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC) and Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists (AACB).
