Throughout my career, I have maintained an interest and a robust practice in the areas of burn surgery, trauma surgery and surgical critical care. In my private practice, I focus on forgut diseases, primarily GERD and esophageal causes of dysphagia.

I have been a member of the US Military (Army and, briefly, Air Force) since 2007 and have 3 deployments as a trauma and burn surgeon.

I enjoy teaching and am an Assistant Professor of Surgery at ATSU, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine
