Dr. Tim Montrief received a degree in Arabic from the University of Michigan, a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Miami, completed medical school at the University Of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and a former current chief resident for The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency. A graduate of the ACEP Resident’s Teaching Fellowship and a two-time Essentials of EM medical education fellow, he is passionate about emergency medicine education and is proud to have contributed content to numerous FOAM resources. Tim is the current critical care content editor for emDOcs and contributes clinical content for Critical Care Now, Academic Life in Emergency Medicine, and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He is currently completing critical care and simulation fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
