Ramin Shahidi is the Director of California Institute of Computer Assisted Surgery, and has served as a Professor of Neurosurgery, Surgery and Electrical Engineering and as a founding faculty of Bio-Design and Bio-Computation at Stanford University. He started his career as an Imaging Scientist at Vital Images. Since then he has served as a Director, CTO and Vice President of Product Design, at CBYON, Inc.. He received his dual PhDs in Biomedical Imaging and Biological Sciences and his dual MS degree in Biomedical Instrumentation and Bio-materials from UMDNJ and Rutgers Univ., and his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston Univ.
