in 1980 i was graduated the varvakeios model high school with honors. then after succesfull exams i succeeded in medical school of athens university. During the final year of my studies i was accepted by the medical school of Harvard University in Boston , USA. I attended and actively participated in the three month courses of internal medicine of the general surgery and the vascular surgery departments in new england deaconess hospital.
in 1990 i graduated from the medical school of the univerity of athens .
then i completed my obligatory medical service and i was granted the title of general surgery.
i had additionally postgraduate training at the Hammersmith hospital in London.
two years later i was granted the title of European Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery after succesful eccams in Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg.
i am director of the surgical department of metropolitan hospital in Athens for the last 15 years and i remain in that position till nowdays.
