I am an assistant professor at King Saud University with interest in Motility and it is my subspecialty by training. Our study is of great value to the research in Motility, specially in Saudi Arabia where motility studies are scarce. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the association between GI symptoms and BMI in a Saudi population. While multiple studies have evaluated the effect of body mass index (BMI) on the prevalence of gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms, data from Saudi Arabia is scarce.
