My clinical role is Hospitalist and Chairman of Department of Internal Medicine at Mercyhealth, Rockford, IL. My faculty title is Clinical Assistant professor with University of Illinois and I teach the medical students and resident physicians. For the last three years I have been serving as an Institutional Research Review Board Chairman at Mercyhealth. I performed peer reviews for multiple journals. Also I was selected as judge for the research and clinical vignettes at the National Society of Hospital Medicine and American College of Physicians annual conferences.

As a Chairman of IRB, I revised our standard operating manual that outlines the steps researchers has to follow to conduct the research in an ethical manner. This guidance has been a resource for many physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, resident physicians and medical students across the Mercyhealth and UIC, Rockford campus. Also I served on UIC IRB committee in the past.
