I obtained my medical degree from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Then i completed my adult cardiac Surgery residency at Dalhousie university in Halifax, Canada. During my residency i obtained a master’s in health informatics and was enrolled in the Clinician Investigator program. After that, i traveled to Australia to complete a clinical fellowship in congenital cardiac surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

After finishing my training in 2018, I joined King Faisal Cardiac Center in Jeddah as a full-time Adult and Congenital Cardiac Surgeon. I am also an Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery in the College of Medicine at King Saudi bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Jeddah.

My clinical interests are in the areas of adult congenital cardiac repairs and mechanical circulatory support. My research interests are mainly in the area of big data and the application of complex machine learning and predictive models on medical data to optimize patient outcomes.
