Ken was trained and later served on staff at the Harvard Medical School and Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston. Dr Strauss speaks in English, French and Spanish to health care worker audiences throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East on topics related to diabetes, HIV disease and patient safety. As Medical Director he performs clinical trials at university hospitals throughout Europe and other parts of the world. In addition he develops disease management and educational tools for use in the clinical setting by doctors, nurses and patients.
