I obtained my MPH in epidemiology from Georgia State University, worked for the CDC and the Tennessee State Health Department before attending medical school at Penn State College of Medicine. I completed my pediatrics primary care residency at Medical University of South Carolina. My research has stretched the gamut from bench-top molecular biology research to quality improvement for pediatric hypertension. I have performed chart reviews, performed media research, and performed community needs assessments.
