About
I am an associate professor of biology at a small liberal arts institution just outside Chicago. As a biological anthropologist, I work on evolution in fossil humans, including australopiths and Neanderthals. My expertise is in primate and hominin skull evolution, morphology and growth of the brain and vocal tract; and phylogenetic comparative methods.
