Dr. Doncho Donev, received MD in 1973, completed specialization in social medicine in 1981 and his PhD in 1993 at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, R. Macedonia. He realized one-year postdoctoral studies in public health (Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program) at Emory University School of Public Health in Atlanta, GA, USA, in the academic year 1993/94. Currently he is a professor and director of the Institute of Social Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Prof. Donev is an editor of several books, author of many book chapters, and over 200 papers and articles presented and published in Proceedings and scientific journals.
