I was trained at PGI, Chandigarh in Radiotherapy and undertook a Fellowship in Intraluminal brachytherapy for lung cancers under Professor Joslin. This was followed by a Commonwealth scholarship to pursue further interstitial brachytherapy training for head and neck cancers under Dr D v Ash. During this time I did a Radiobiology research on bioequivalence of low dose rate and pulsed dose rate brachytherapy. Subsequently I started and established a department of Radiation Oncology at a premier cancer centre in Delhi and received my CCST in Clinical Oncology from British Radiological Institute, London and Fellowship of International Medical Science Academy as well as Indian College of Radiation Oncology. I have presented and published in National and International fora. I have edited two books and started DNB training at my previous centre and present workspace.I have received training at premier institution across the globe including Europe and USA and have been a QUATRO trainer and auditor for IAEA in Asia and SE Asia.
