I was trained in USA in Internal Medicine and then did my fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine from North shore-LIJ, Hofstra University, NY. I have been involved in Academia which revolved around curricular reforms in undergrad medical education at Shifa College of medicine at Islamabad and providing healthcare in pulmonary and critical care at Shifa International hospital, Islamabad till lately when I joined Maroof International as Chief of Medicine.
Research has been my passion and it evolved from primarily clinical to bench work to education-related phenomenon. Clinical research has focused on diverse topics in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
