Dr. Kranti Kiran is currently working as an Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Malla Reddy Institute of Dental Sciences, Hyderabad, India.

He is also on the Medical staff at Malla Reddy Health City as Director for Research.

Dr. Kranti Kiran received his BDS from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai in 2005 and MDS in Oral Pathology & Microbiology from Saveetha University in 2010.

Dr. Kranti has extensive academic and teaching experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

He has provided numerous continuing education courses and invited lectures in various forums. He has published more than 40 National and International Journals and currently a reviewer in many International Journals.

Dr. Kranti’s interests lie in mucosal soft tissue tumors and gnathic bone lesions and to advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health worldwide.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (AAOMP). He is also a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and International Association for Dental Research. He has and continues to serve on several National level committees including the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists.

In addition to the regular teaching, he is also involved in various administrative activities like Steering committee Coordinator of NAAC, Member coordinator for Institutional Ethics Committee, Chief Editor of MNR Dental Journal and as Director for International Affairs at MNR Educational Trust and Instrumental in achieving collaborations with various Institutes of National Importance.

He brings over 10 years of experience in diagnostic clinical pathology and histopathology.
