About
I am a clinical educator working as Associate Program Director (Internal Medicine) at one of the largest and oldest community hospital in USA, namely Stroger Hospital of Cook County. I finished medical school in India and completed a 3 year Internal Medicine residency in India. I completed another 3 years of Internal medicine residency from Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago and did an additional year as Chief Medical Resident. Since then I have been core faculty with Internal Medicine residency program. I have published multiple case reports with my residents. I have also collaborated with residents on case series. I guide residents with quality improvement projects. Earlier during my residency in India, I completed a thesis on Vocal cord dysfunction in patients with Asthma. My thesis related papers have been published and presented in journals and academic meetings respectively. As a resident I also did podium presentations of case reports at academic meetings. I am interested in clinical reasoning, history taking and physical examination skills, cognitive biases and quality improvement and patient safety
