Dr. Syed Gardezi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. He holds a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and General Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He has advanced expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Gardezi has a strong academic interest in metabolic liver disease, endoscopy innovation, and medical education. His research focuses on improving early detection strategies for liver disease, optimising endoscopic techniques, and addressing training and wellbeing in gastroenterology practice. He is actively involved in teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development, and has contributed to multiple regional and international academic initiatives.
