Dr Michelle Brooks MD, FACP, FHM is an assistant professor and academic hospitalist at VCU Health, associate program director for inpatient medicine for the VCU Internal Medicine residency program, co-chair of the Laboratory Utilization Committee, and medical director for three inpatient house staff units. Her academic interests include social media in medical education, quality improvement and patient safety, medical television dramas, high value care, and testing and antimicrobial stewardship. She is an award-winning clinician educator and has been invited as faculty for social media usage in medical education at several national conferences.
