About

I am a biomedical scientist and early-career researcher based at Ndola Teaching Hospital, Zambia, where I serve as Head of Haematology and Head of the Laboratory Information System in the Pathology Department. I hold a Masterโ€™s degree in Immuno-Pathology and have experience as a guest lecturer in biomedical sciences.

My research focuses on immune dysregulation in infectious and non-communicable diseases, particularly HIV, sepsis, tuberculosis, syphilis, malaria, and cardio-renal-metabolic disorders. I have led and contributed to multiple hospital-based studies examining hematological, inflammatory, and immunological biomarkers in resource-limited settings, with an emphasis on translating laboratory data into clinical decision-making.

I am currently developing PhD research concepts at the intersection of immunology, inflammation, and machine learning, aiming to improve early diagnosis, prognosis, and health equity in sub-Saharan Africa.
