After graduating at the top of class from D.Y.Patil Hospital and Research Centre with a Gold medal distinction in Radio-diagnosis I went ahead to complete a fellowship in musculoskeletal interventions at the prestigious Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia (USA) under the mentorship of Prof. Levon Nazarian in 2017.

I had the opportunity to work with some of the leading radiologists in the city and country including Dr. Mukund Joshi, Dr.Nitin Chaubal, Dr.Chander Lulla, Dr.Ashwin Lawande and Dr.Sona Pungavkar to name a few.

My academic inclination and various award winning presentations at conferences in Radiology paved way for the award scholarship in Advanced Breast Imaging by European Society of Radiology at the Norwich and Norfolk University Hospitals (U.K). During this rotation I was exposed to more than 1500 mammograms, screening guidelines, Vacuum aided biopsies and excisions, radio-isotope injections, MRI and CT staging. The surgical and pathological correlations along with multi-disciplinary approach was an essential part of my training in the UK.

In 2019 my efforts were again appreciated by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in the form of a travel grant and conference invitation.

I have more than 20 publications in national and international journals including spectrum of original articles guidelines and case reports. I have been an invited speaker at the oncology conference and ultrasound conference in Australia, UK and Dubai.
I have also co-authored E-learning modules for European Society of Radiology and Manchester University Breast Academy.
As a return to the society I avidly share teaching cases on social media through an Instagram handle- Friendly breast radiology.
