Greetings
I am Dr. Saurabh Yashaswee, currently working as assistant professor at Department of Zoology, RD & DJ College Campus, Munger University, Munger, Bihar, India.
I have done my M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Department of Zoology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
During my Ph.D., I have worked on the cellular and molecular aspects of Non Melanoma skin cancer progression and its therapeutic interventions by emodin in murine model. Further, I have worked on basic aspects of restricting the growth of Dalton's Lymphoma by using synthetic compounds.
I have technical expertise in Basic in vitro techniques, Cell fractionation, DNA extraction, RNA extraction, PCR (q & RT), Agarose gel electrophoresis, Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, Western Blotting, Staining Techniques (H&E, IF, ICC), Microscopy (Fluorescence & Confocal), Biochemical & Spectrophotometry techniques.
My research work has been recognized at conferences and was awarded Prof. A R Rao Young Scientist Award (for Poster) at JNU, New Delhi (2021); Best Poster Award at CAS, BHU, Varanasi (2020) and Travel Award at SFRRI conference, BARC Mumbai (2017).
I am a life Member of some well recognized research societies in India, Society for Free Radical Research (SFRR-India); Society for Neuro Chemistry India (SNCI); Association of Gerontology India (AGI).
I have keen interest in promoting my cancer research further and will be honoured to be considered for membership of this prestigious international society.
