Hidemi Nakano, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and the originator of the "Nakano Method" (Psychological Systems Theory), an integrative approach combining attachment theory, transactional analysis, and somatic protocols.
She holds a Ph.D. in Art from Kyushu Sangyo University, where she pioneered the visualization of Internal Working Models (IWM) through collage therapy. With over 26 years of clinical experience and 3,500+ cases, she specializes in treating adult attachment disturbances and trauma.
She currently serves as the Director of the Tokyo Clinical Psychology Counseling Academy and supervises clinical practice at Akasaka Psychosomatic Clinic in Tokyo. She is also a prolific author with over 10 books published in Japan.
