BIOGRAPHY:
Graduated cum laude in 1998 at University of Rome “ Sapienza”. From November 1998 to November 2002: fellowship training in Medical Oncology at Experimental Medicine Department of University of Rome “Sapienza”. November 2002: Graduated cum Laude in Medical Oncology (II° School of Clinical Oncology of University of Rome “Sapienza”). From 1998 to 2002 actively involved in a regional home-care programme for terminally-ill cancer patients. From December 2002 to February 2019 consultant oncologist at Clinical Oncology Unit of Istituto Neurotraumatologico Italiano of Grottaferrata (Rome). From 2010 this unit was chosen by European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) as designated center of Integrated Oncology and Palliative Care. From March 2019 consultant oncologist at Centre Hospitalier Regional Metz-Thionville. Author or Co-author of 23 articles published in national and international medical journals. Author or Co-author of more 60 abstracts presented at national and international conferences. Invited speaker in several national conferences and courses. Member of AIOM (Italian Society of Clinical Oncology). From 2011 invited teacher at School of Nursing of University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: palliative care services, supportive care in oncology, medical treatment of solid tumors.
