I graduated in Biology at University of Pisa (Italy) in February 2006, with a thesis titled The use of Gemcitabine for the treatment of pancreatic cancer”;
Then I started investigating the effects of low level electromagnetic fields on cancer and non-tumorigenic cells, spending 1,5 year at University of Siena (Italy). From October 2009 to October 2012 I did my PhD in the same field, conducting the research at University of Siena (2 years) and at ETH of Zurich (Switzerland) (1 year). Actually I'm employed as post-doc at ETH of Zurich, continuing investigation on the effects ef electromagnetic fields on cancer and cancer stem cells.
