I graduated in biology at University of Pisa (Italy) with a thesis titled "The use of Gemcitabine for the treatment of pancreatic cancer”.
For 1 year, at University of Siena (Italy), I did research about the application of low level-electromagnetic fields on non-tumorigenic and cancer cells lines. From October 2009 to October 2012 I did my PhD in the same field of research spending 2 years at University of Siena (Italy) and 1 year in ETH of Zurich (Switzerland). Actually I'm still working at ETH, investigating electromagnetic fields on cancer and cancer stem cells.
