About

I am a committed Medical Doctor and Public Health Professional with over 6.5 years of progressive experience in clinical medicine, epidemiology, and humanitarian health response. Currently serving as a Camp Health Focal Point with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Cox’s Bazar, I lead health sector coordination, surveillance, and emergency preparedness across refugee camps and host communities.

My expertise spans disease surveillance (EWARS, event-based and community-based systems), outbreak investigation, infection prevention and control, maternal and child health, and health systems strengthening. I have successfully managed high-pressure projects, including the operation of COVID-19 isolation and treatment facilities, maternal and neonatal care programs, and staff capacity-building initiatives involving 150+ healthcare professionals.

With strong skills in data analysis (SPSS, STATA), health program management, and multi-sectoral coordination, I have consistently contributed to evidence-based decision-making and improved service delivery in complex humanitarian settings. I maintain close collaboration with government health authorities, UN agencies, and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with national and international health strategies.

Driven by integrity, resilience, and a commitment to excellence, my long-term aspiration is to advance into global health leadership and research roles that influence health policy, emergency response frameworks, and sustainable public health systems at national and international levels.
