About
I hold an honorary consultant contract in gynaecological oncology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. In the past, I completed my lab-based PhD in Trinity College Dublin in the molecular biology of ovarian cancer. I engaged in establishing integral components of the ovarian cancer genomics at the University of Oxford, and I completed my post doctorate training by designing and coordinating the first in the UK pilot Clinical Trial in the detection of sentinel lymph nodes in gynaecological cancers by use of Near Infrared Imaging technology and Indocyanine Green dye (ICG). Currently, I am interested in the application of Machine Learning algorithms in improving the predictive and prognostic accuracy of advanced stage ovarian cancer outcomes.
