"I am a passionate pharmaceutical professional with over two decades of diverse experience in academia, industry, and community pharmacy. My career spans more than 14 years of teaching and academic leadership, along with 7 years of industrial expertise and 3 years in community pharmacy practice. This unique blend has enabled me to develop strong competencies in formulation development, applied pharmaceutics research, product innovation, brand management, and patient-centered healthcare services.
As Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics, I have shouldered responsibilities beyond classroom teaching—ranging from preparing academic proposals for AICTE and PCI to guiding research projects, mentoring students, and managing administrative functions. My academic journey has also taken me to international platforms such as FIP (Cairo, 2005; Istanbul, 2009) and AIIMS, New Delhi (2014), where I had the privilege of presenting and sharing innovations in pharmaceutical sciences.
On the research front, I have published articles in Scopus and UGC-indexed journals and contributed significantly to innovation through 12 Indian utility patents (Published in Indian Patent Journal) and 12 design patents registered both in India and the UK. Recognition such as the Teacher Innovation Award (Sri Aurobindo Society, 2019) has further encouraged me to keep innovating and inspiring.
Beyond professional achievements, I firmly believe in aligning science with society. I have initiated and contributed to projects aimed at empowering transgender communities and acid attack survivors, efforts that were acknowledged and appreciated in leading newspapers. Such initiatives reflect my belief that scientific progress must also serve as a tool for social upliftment. I am also involved in formulation and development of veterinary dosage forms. I had developed a topical gel formulation addressing mouth rot diseases in poisonous snakes; the same has been published in Indian Patent Journal. Recently my key area of focus has been nutraceuticals, few works has been published in Indian Patent Journal.
Looking ahead, I remain deeply committed to advancing pharmaceutical sciences through applied research, institute–industry collaboration, and innovative teaching practices. My goal is to continue bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial needs while nurturing the next generation of pharmacists and researchers."
