Alexander Avdashenko joined Lenox Hill Hospital in September 2007 as a recent PA graduate in a bustling cath lab. Over the following three years, Alexander diligently managed pre-procedural, intraprocedural, and post-procedural patients, exhibiting versatility by covering variable shifts and providing night coverage on the telemetry unit. Notably, Alexander was among the few ACPs who actively participated in coronary and peripheral interventions, playing a crucial role in procedures such as gaining access and providing support during angioplasties. His experience extended to invasive radiology, where Alexander contributed as a first assistant in multiple procedures during his final months at Lenox Hill Hospital before transitioning to Staten Island University Hospital in 2021.
