I am a specialist doctor in Internal Medicine and Diabetology, currently practicing as a private physician on the island of Samos, Greece. I have also received training in medical acupuncture and homeopathy from recognized training organizations in Greece. Furthermore I have been a tutor in the e-learning Diabetes PgDip courses organized by Cardiff (Prof. David Owens) and Leicester Universities (Prof. Kamlesh Khunti and Melanie Davies). In addition, along with other colleagues, I have published several review articles in various medical journals, mainly on different treatment options of cancer and diabetes. Last but not least my research interests include the study of the local history of medicine as I am a PhD candidate in Athens Medical School under the supervision of Prof. Marianna Karamanou.
