About

Work: My primary work is a rigorous and demanding curriculum that combines classroom learning with clinical practice. My days are spent attending lectures, studying medical textbooks, and participating in hospital rounds. I assist residents and attending physicians, take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and document findings. My work is about absorbing a massive amount of information and learning to apply it in real-world clinical scenarios, all while developing my clinical skills.

Research: My research is typically a smaller, but important, part of my education. This might involve participating in a research project under a faculty mentor, writing case reports, or conducting a literature review. This work is focused on understanding the scientific method, contributing to medical knowledge, and developing critical thinking skills that are essential for evidence-based medicine.

Career: My "career" as a medical student is a journey toward becoming a licensed physician. It progresses through distinct phases: the preclinical years (foundational science), the clinical years (rotations in various medical specialties), and finally, matching into a residency program. Each milestone is a step toward specializing in a chosen field and beginning my professional life as a doctor.
