Adriana Bruno, MD, MSc, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. She has been a faculty physician at UFBA since 1994 and holds a Master’s degree, currently pursuing a PhD at the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (EBMSP). Her main areas of research and clinical practice include gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD), ectopic pregnancy, hysteroscopy, and menopause. She coordinates the GTD Reference Center at Maternidade Climério de Oliveira (MCO/UFBA), serves on the Board of the Brazilian Association for Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (2023–2026), and is Treasurer of the Bahia Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (2024–2026).
