Dr. Bonta has been the Trauma Medical Director at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital for more than 25 years. Additionally, he is Adjunct Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University and the University of Toledo. His research interests include trauma triage accuracy, resource allocation, and trauma performance improvement. He is also a consultant for hospitals seeking trauma verification or designation, and he continues to seek the highest level of performance improvement activities in his own institution and in other hospitals' trauma programs.
