I am a clinical assistant professor in the department of biomedical sciences at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine, University of Houston, Texas, USA. I have over 15 years of teaching experience in anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy, and embryology across diverse academic settings. My primary research focuses on understanding the role of immunity in obesity-associated diabetes, using glucose clamp techniques and metabolic experiments in animal models. I also have broader interests in human anatomy, histology and medical education.
