Associated Professor and Director of the Research Group in Statistics at the Faculty of Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Campus Medellín. I hold a PhD. degree in Statistics from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. My research focuses mainly on linear mixed models, stochastic models, survival analysis, biostatistics and epidemiology. My papers have appeared both in national and international scientific journals. I have also published two text books. Finally, I have also worked as a statistical consultant for local companies.
