I am a thoracic surgeon and breast specialist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis, prevention, and surgical treatment of breast diseases and lung cancer. I have two academic degrees: a Certificate of Competence in Breast Cancer from the University of Ulm, Germany, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Lung Cancer from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. In 2022, I got the title ESCO Graduate from the College of the European School of Oncology. I visited numerous international courses in breast diagnostics and oncoplastic surgery.​
I am also the author and co-author of four medical monographs on breast diseases and thoracic oncology. From 2023 to 2024, I was the national ambassador for the European School of Oncology in Bulgaria.​
